The first item I made was a reversible bag then a pair of Batman pajama pants in a Intro to Sewing class at Saddleback College. The pj bottoms were too small for me so I gave them to my brother. I also started a red wrap top but didn't complete it in class. Weeks later, when I wanted to finish it, I realized I messed up. I couldn't find the material in JoAnn's, where I previous bought it, so I tossed the outfit.
Here are pictures of my sewing projects I have completed:
My first dress! This was a final assignment I made for a Intermediate Sewing class I took at Saddleback College a couple years ago. Since then I've lost weight and had to alter it to fit my smaller size. So proud of myself that I didn't mess up and am able to wear it again!

This coat took forever! I was so frustrated because the thread was too light for the material. Also trying to sew continuously for the waistline was not working. It took me months and maybe a year from start to finish. I rarely wear this jacket because it is longer in the torso than I would like. One day, or week, maybe I'll take it apart and readjust the fit.

My orange summer dress.

This skirt was made from leftover material from a dress I made for my mom. I have not worn the skirt because it is too snug around my tummy and not my color scheme.

A wrap dress I regularly wear. This is my most recent item.

I've made many dresses. I figure they are easier than pants to make, since those are more snug around the midsection. Maybe if I find a nice pattern and material I will one day start but for now it's dresses.
I also like making pj bottoms. Its fun finding the material for it. I've made wedding themed pants for my cousin, girly themed for my sister and football flannel for my boyfriend. All made to fit their personality.
